Bluescapes, Photographic Exhibition
by Reiner Spliedt.
Presented in Association with the Head On Photo Festival.
My professional PR support helped attract over 220 people to Reiner Spliedt's debut exhibition. I arranged coverage in The Sydney Morning Herald, Inner West Courier and Mosman Daily. I kept on top of all the communications and text needed on behalf of Reiner. I contacted a variety of people including photo groups, heritage groups, the government organisations that manage the sites photographed, the community groups with active interest in the sites, and curators. I stayed abreast of opportunities within the Head On Festival and connected with groups such as ARTcycle who run gallery bike tours. Even before the exhibition finished its 2 week run, Reiner was invited to exhibit his work as part of a large corporate event, futher increasing exposure for his art.

Flash, Primrose Park Photography Newsletter.
“I am the Curator of a Photographic Gallery. Each month we have a new exhibitor. Kirsten has the task of interviewing the photographer and then writing a page about the person, which is then published in our Newsletter. Kirsten also interviewed me for my exhibition. I found her to be charming and ask the right questions in a most tactful way. She then wrote it up in an interesting and creative way. I have written my autobiography and know the talent required to do this work successfully. I can highly recommend Kirsten as an excellent wordsmith.”

Eyemazing is an international photography magazine published quarterly in The Netherlands. Winner of the International Sappi Awards for Best Printed Magazine, 2011, and winner of the prestigious Lucie Award for Best Photography Magazine, 2008.
I have sub-edited every issue of this publication since 2006. I've been responsible for text corrections and re-writing (most articles are written by non-native English speakers) to ensure factual accuracy and correct spelling, grammar, style and tone. I also interviewed photographers and wrote feature articles and book reviews.
